Official rules for The Brandywine Buzz Thanksgiving Giveaway. No purchase necessary.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

The Brandywine Buzz Thanksgiving Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Brandywine Buzz, West Chester, PA 19380 ("Sponsor"). Questions: hello@thebrandywinebuzz.com.

2. Not affiliated with Nextdoor or any platform

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Nextdoor, Meta (Facebook or Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, or Google. You are providing your information to Sponsor, not to any of those platforms. Any gift card is issued by the restaurant, which is not a sponsor of this Giveaway.

3. Who can enter

Open to legal residents of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Not open to Sponsor's owners, contractors, or anyone living in the same household as any of them. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. Entry period

The Giveaway starts at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Thursday, November 12, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer clock is the official clock for the Giveaway.

5. How to enter

  • New readers: sign up for the free Brandywine Buzz email newsletter at https://thebrandywinebuzz.com/join during the Entry Period. Signing up is free and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Current subscribers: anyone already subscribed to Brandywine Buzz during the Entry Period is entered automatically. You don't need to do anything.
  • Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address, no matter how many times you sign up or which link you use.
  • Entries made with more than one email address, fake or disposable addresses, someone else's address, bots, scripts, or any other automated method will be void, and so may every entry from the person involved.
  • Liking, commenting on, or sharing a post on Nextdoor or any other platform is NOT a way to enter and does not add entries.
  • If you unsubscribe during the Entry Period, the entry you already earned stays on file, but you must be an active subscriber at the time of the drawing to be eligible to win. Re-subscribing before the drawing restores eligibility (still one entry).

6. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) $50 electronic gift card (e-gift card) to a restaurant of the winner's choice located in the Brandywine Valley (Chester County, PA, and nearby parts of Delaware County, PA and New Castle County, DE). Approximate retail value (ARV): $50. Total ARV of all prizes: $50.

  • Sponsor will buy the e-gift card and have it emailed by the restaurant (or its gift card provider) straight to the winner's email address within three (3) business days after the winner confirms, so that it arrives before the Thanksgiving weekend.
  • The chosen restaurant must sell e-gift cards that can be bought online or by phone and emailed. If the winner's first choice doesn't, the winner may pick another restaurant that does. If the winner can't name one within 48 hours of Sponsor letting them know, Sponsor will award a $50 e-gift card of equal value to a Brandywine Valley restaurant chosen by Sponsor.
  • The gift card is subject to the restaurant's or issuer's terms, including any expiration date. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired gift cards, or for a restaurant closing or refusing to honor its card.
  • The prize cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. No substitution except as described above or if the prize becomes unavailable, in which case Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  • Any taxes are the winner's responsibility.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period.

8. Drawing and notification

  • On or about Friday, November 13, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries using a random number generator. Sponsor's decisions are final.
  • Sponsor will email the potential winner at their subscribed address from hello@thebrandywinebuzz.com (or the Brandywine Buzz sending address). The email will never ask for a payment, bank details, or a password.
  • The potential winner must reply within seventy-two (72) hours of the notification email (by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, November 16, 2026, if notified Friday, November 13) with their restaurant choice and confirmation that they are eligible. Sponsor may ask for a short signed statement of eligibility and publicity release.
  • If the potential winner does not reply in time, is found ineligible, or does not comply with these rules, they forfeit the prize and Sponsor may draw an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries. Sponsor may draw up to two alternates; after that, the prize may go unawarded.

9. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize the winner agrees that Sponsor may share the winner's first name and town (and, if the winner agrees, their restaurant pick) in the Brandywine Buzz newsletter, on its website, and on its social and Nextdoor pages, without further payment. Sponsor will never publish a winner's last name, email address, or street address.

10. Release of liability

By entering, you agree to these rules and to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its owners, contractors, and agents, and Nextdoor and any other platform where the Giveaway is mentioned, from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of the Giveaway or the acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or emails, technical failures, or anything outside its reasonable control. If the Giveaway can't run as planned because of fraud, technical problems, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor may cancel, change, or suspend it and award the prize by random drawing from eligible entries received before that happened.

Your email address is used to send you the Brandywine Buzz newsletter and to run this Giveaway. We do not sell or rent our list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See https://thebrandywinebuzz.com/privacy.

12. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Chester County, Pennsylvania.

13. Winner's name

For the winner's first name and town, email hello@thebrandywinebuzz.com with the subject "Giveaway winner" by December 31, 2026.
